Cartoon Network Green Lantern: The Animated SeriesCartoon Network just released a promotional trailer for their upcoming Green Lantern: The Animated Series. So far so good, it looks like it will stay true to the story in the comics. Produced by Batman: The Animated Series artist Bruce Timm whom we have total faith in, if anyone other than Bruce Timm was on this project I'd be worried but Bruce Timm has proven over the years that he understands the DC Universe as well as anyone.
Starring the voices of Josh Keaton, Michael Clarke Duncan, Richard Green and Robert Englund, Green Lantern: The Animated Series is billed not as a rehash of the superhero's origins, but rather as "the continuing adventures Hal Jordon and his comrades of the Green Lantern Corps": "As Earth's Green Lantern, Hal Jordan is used to being in dangerous situations—but he's never faced anything like this! Set at the farthest reaches of deep space, Hal must face down an invasion from the Red Lantern Corps. Hal is soon joined by an all-new group of heroes on a mission to protect Guardian Space — and the Green Lantern Corps itself!"
